Migration from other subscription services

We have a Joomla 1.0 site that uses Mambo Charge and CB to do subscriptions on the current site. We are looking at migrating to Joomla 1.5, CB, and CBSubs to do the subscriptions.

On the mambo charge there are recurring payments being taken now through PayPal. Would it be possible to transfer those subscriptions from MC to CBSubs WITHOUT losing continuity? Would we be able to do it without the user knowing their subscription had changed components in the system? We'd ideally like it this way instead of having to have 2 concurrent systems running with old access and new access or trying to give "x days free" to clients and have them sign-up again for their subscription.

The client really wants to transfer the people so he doesn't lose a lot of subscribers.

Any suggestions you can give would be greatly appreciated!!!

CBSubs features an import capability. If you can format them to match CBSubs import format (multiple formats). Then you will be able to transfer your subscriptions over. However, I do not believe you'll be able to transfer off the paypal payments as you're wanting them. On renewal they'll likely need to resubscribe to add it into CBSubs system.
