This is the proper way to assign a user a backend subscription.I know I can go to user management, open a user record, go to the subscriptions tab, select the free subscription and then save the record.
Backend activated subscriptions will also activate their integrations so yes emails should/will send.But when I do this, will the email for first activation be sent, or is that email only sent for subscriptions activated by the member though a payment process?
