[SOLVED] Transfer Users from ACE to CB_Subs

13 years 11 months ago #129164 by Andrea1966
I use at the moment the component ACE for the memberships, so every user has a valid plan with expiry date. How can I transfer the users best of all from ACE in CB_Subs?

Do you mean "ACE"? Or "AEC"?

I'm just transferring from AEC, getting it to export the format that CBSubs can input for individual plans.

User ID import is part of the CB setup.
Having created the plans in CBSubs I export the AEC data for user id, I write the CBSubs plan id, and then the other two bits.

Remember to put a comma after the fourth field too, odd but required.

Or, of course, I may have completely misunderstood :sick:

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your answer. You are right of course, it is the AEC component..... :blush:

I have never made an export about AEC, however, it seems to be easy. I export only the fields User-Id, status and SubscriptionDate about AEC export, add the Plan-Id of CB_Sub by hand? And then I import this datas about CB_Sub? Is that correct?

Regards

Andrea

Yes, this is correct; you'll need to input CBSubs plan id by hand as your CBSubs plans will not have the same IDs as subscriptions in AEC. You will likely also need to manually add their status. Please see list as follows for statuses.

A = Active
R = Registered Unpaid
X = Expired
C = Unsubscribed
U = Upgraded to other
I = Invalid

Hi krileon and Mark,

Thanks for your help. I have imported now the users and in the cb_subscription backend I can see all the users with subscription.

But in the backend from CB-Usermanager is only a part of the plans to be seen. How can this be?

Regards.

User Management respects plan restrictions just as well as the frontend. Wherein the import feature will override any restrictions. Please check your plans and ensure you allow new subscriptions, plan is available for upgrade, etc... As some of these settings can result in a plan not appearing. I recommend reviewing your documentation very carefully as configuration of your plans is a trial and error process.
