Dear all,
I already talked to Nick and Beat. They recomended to discuss this here.
I am currently setting up a site, where clients can subscribe for example for 3months, and then shall be allowed to download a maximum number of different files from out DOCMAN. After they reach this number, the subscription must end or get extended by another payment.
The idea is, to offer clients specific deliverables (documents) which are created on request, then get uploaded by the author into DOCMAN, and are available just for one customer. S/he then can download the files, whereby they all should get downloaded as often as wanted. But in total there shall be only a maximum of for example 10 different!!! deliverables get downloadable buy one subscription.
Does anybody have an idea how this could work?

CBSubs can not add or extend the features of an extension. Such features MUST already exist in the extension already for CBSubs to "manipulate" (so to speak) them. In other words does Docman allow you to place a limit of XYZ downloads per user? If not then no CBSubs can't control this. It is possible using Categories and Groups within Docman to make a category only that user can access however. This can be done using CBSubs SQL Actions (wherein CBSubs Docman can add a user to a specific Docman Group if you like).
