It took me a while, but I realize now that the difficulty i've been having for so long with this particular issue is due in large part to my CBsubs plans setup.
As a result, I changed my plans setup so that I have only 1 plan for free users and 1 plan for VIP (paid) users (as opposed to 2 sets of free & paid plans) in order to simplify my setup and be compatible with the Tabs Protect feature.
However, I'm still experiencing the same conflict.
I have only 1 plan for free users and 1 plan for paid users.
My Tabs protect settings are setup to enable visibility of the 'Contact TAB' by only 1 plan which the VIP plan - this goes for both Owners and Viewers (see attached screen shot).
Since visibility is enabled for only the 1 plan (VIP), shouldn't it work?
The only other possibility I can think of that may be causing a conflict:
is the free user plan (a lifetime subscription) which I have setup so that the VIP/paid plan is an upgrade from the free plan but even after upgrading, the user remains subscribed to the free plan.
Do I need to configure it so that the upgrade changes/swaps the user's plan from free to paid - essentially dumping the free subscription?
