It is my first website with CBSubs. I have a small issue. I have read the documentation and the forum but I am afraid of doing something the wrong way.

Here is my case:

I do have 2 profiles of members:
1) free members (no access to special features)
2) subscribers (with access to sprecial features) with different duration period

The price of the subscription depends on the duration.
I want to give automatically a subscription trial period to all my new members.

so during registration, I want my visitor to get, by default, a 3 months free subscription.
At the end of the 3 months: they can buy a subscription. If not they become "free member".

Si I have created a "free member" plan which is the membership "by default" (and allow registration: "no").

Then I have created several subscription plans with several duration (allow registration: "yes").. In the registration form, I would like to have one of them selected by default.

But I guess that I can't set a subscription trial "by default" as I already have a "free member" plan which is "by default" ?!

With other words: I want to get a plan selected by default in the registration form which is different from the default lifetime membership.

Is there a way to solve my issue ?

I have a "dirty" proposal:

Plan: free trial subs
selected by default: Yes
Allow registration: Yes
Total number of occurrences of regular validity/price: 1

Plan: 1 year subs
selected by default: No
Allow registration: No
Total number of occurrences of regular validity/price: 0

Plan: free lifetime member
selected by default: Yes
Allow registration: No
Total number of occurrences of regular validity/price: 0

I guess It is going to work.. at least during the registration process but I am afraid of having 2 "by default" plans at the same levels because I saw it is not designed to do so...

I finally found a simple way to do what I want in the general CB subs settings:

Allow Free Registered Users (without subscriptions): NO

then I display ine the registration form all my plans except the "free member" plan.

Then my visitors have to select it to be able to registrate, which is fine for me.
