There is no reason to unistall the english plugin.

Language in CB and CBSubs follows selected language in Joomla or Joomlafish automatically.

I understand that this is how it is supposed to work, but it did not until I uninstalled the english plugin. Unistalling it does not seem to have consequences, or should I install it again?

uninstalling does not cause problems.

but if you need to unistall in order to get the french plugin to work then there must be something wrong with the french plugin to begin with.

Where Can I find the file or any file actually; even if uncomplete, because I'm unable to create a language plugin as explained in the doc in chapter 13.2
Alernatively can you tell me what's wrong with my attached french plugin.

Your package has a __MACOSX folder in it - this is causing problems.

Try the one I attached.
