Yes, I know but it is really not working on 3rd modules and if the SEO is on in the config.

Sorry, but it does work.

You are most likely doing something wrong.

I tried option=com_uddeim&task=inbox and it works just fine.

To really configure things properly you need to turn sef off then see the URLs that you want to block and configure each URL in the CBSubs integration tab (extensions).

then verify that these work with SEF off, then turn SEF on and verify that things are still blocked.

Sorry, Nick, but it is really not working on my site.
Please log in in the admin area and with the test2 user in the front end and try it by ourself.

I looked and I noticed what you did wrong.

UDDEIM is an excellent component and slabbi has done a very good job. He has a nice readme.txt file included in the package. If you read it, you did not follow instructions.

When you install any component, you almost always need to create a menu item pointing to it.

You did not do this with uddeim. Why?

I created the MANDATORY menu item and everything works.

So, once again - things are working as they should.

Only way I can think of for you to compensate for the time I spent on this is to help out and vote for both CB and CBSubs here:

(you can cast 3 votes for each and you can also comment) B)

Nick,

I am talking about the inbox module (left site when you are logged in),

Inbox: 1
Outbox: 0
Trashcan: 0
Settings
Compose

and of course the link in the profile menu, next to "View", direct under "Messages" when you click on any profile.

btw. You were logged in as test, not as test2!

You have protected the following URLs in your Free plan:

option=com_uddeim&task=inbox
option=com_uddeim&task=new
option=com_comprofiler&task=emailUser

So I logged in as test which is not in the free plan to see if protection works.

And it does when I created a menu item for uddeim.

Also tested the last CB email user item - which also works.

test2 is in the free plan, so he is authorized.

The module is not protected so it appears for everyone.

But if you click on the inbox link in the module as test user you will be blocked.

I suggest to look again before you post ... and to also vote :-)
