Upgrade with a different plan

Upgrade with a different plan was created by XBOOMX
Hi,
I would like to ensure that our members who already have an active plan can also make use of our offers.
For example, if a user is already running the "3 months" plan and I am now offering the "6 months" plan with a discount, the user with the "3 months" plan should be able to extend their membership without any time from their "3 months" plan " to lose. I have tested some settings, unfortunately without success. No time is booked for it. What should I set in the plans so that the membership period is extended accordingly?

You'll need to enable prorating. It won't transfer subscription duration, but it will prorate the value remaining on their subscription to further discount their purchase. There's no functionality for upgrading into a new plan and transferring the subscription duration with it.

I have activated the prorating.
There is no pro rata calculation for me and the purchase is not reduced. However, the user should be informed before making the payment. What am I doing wrong?

Prorating needs to be enabled for the plan they're upgrading from. So in your case it should be enabled on your 3 month plan. Next both your 3 month and 6 month plans should be marketed exclusive so it's actual upgrade from 1 plan to another.
