Auto Action Subscription plan identification

1 year 10 months ago #329589 by bizguy
During the subscription or renewal process, I need to identify the plan selected, so that I can set the correct state for tax calculations. I assume placing the state code in the cb_subs_inv_address_state will cause the correct computation, as the user's state needs to be where they live, but not the tax base.

My thought is to have an Auto Action fire after the user information is input (and saved to the table), but before the basket is calculated. The state, and therefore tax calculation is based on the plan selected and the branch location. I can access the branch info, but unsure of the plan selected (as it is not written in the record) or when to fire the action.

Please advise.

It sounds like you just want to synchronize an external field to CBSubs invoice address. You should be able to configure that directly in CBSubs > Settings > Display > Invoices under "CB fields for first invoicing address of customer". Aside from that yes you can use CB Auto Actions to do this as well, but why is the plan selected relevant?
