I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I am just getting a blank screen. This is an example of my new group url nihss.pivotalerp.co.za/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&view=pluginclass&plugin=cbautoactions&action=action&actions=213&Itemid=674&format=raw&owner=942&groupname=Tester&groupdescription=testing123 .Then I use [request_groupname] [request_groupdescription] and [request_owner] to substitute in the auto action.

Be sure you've updated CB Auto Actions then have configured the Output tab as instructed in my reply below.

Ok the plugin is 9.0.0+build.2022.07.25.17.23.08.f70815dd2 and I have attached screenshots from the config. Does it make a difference that we are on PHP 7.4?

The group is probably failing to be created. Try replacing your [request_VARIABLE] substitutions with a method specific substitution. In this case it's coming from GET so you'd use [get_VARIABLE]. If still not working enable debug under Parameters then remove &format=raw from the URL and it should output errors to Joomla's message queue to see why it's failing. My guess is missing data of some kind.

I am not getting anything from the debug. I am not even getting a readout from auto actions. Where should I be looking?

Switch your [request_VARIABLE] usages to [get_VARIABLE]. I was able to find a bug with request not working right, but since your variables are in GET the get_ usage will work. A fix will be available for request_ in a later release.
