From the initial feedback and the amount of plugin development activity taking place in the Joomlapolis forums its has become more than obvious that the CB Team's decision to push for the plugin framework API in CB 1.0 RC2 has proven a very wise decision (see article Random Thoughts).
Now the challenge is to assist all this third party activity and support it without adding unecessary overhead and excessive protocol to the process.

Well it looks like our project has reached its goal as it has been outlined in the On the way to number 2 article series (On the way to number 2?, On the way to number 2? - One to go!). We are now at number 2 on the joomla! developer site! Over 5000 downloads so far! We would like to thank the entire worlwide community builder community for its support and vote of confidence - what more can we ask for?

Well, it looks like christmas has come a little early for Joomlapolis! JoomlaJoe, the founder of the Community Builder suite has given us a very nifty (and small) mambot that converts the authors name to a link back to the authors CB profile. The zip file is located in the add-ons area of this site (and also in the project area on the joomla! developers site) and is installable as a mambot. This mambot is currently operational on this site!
Lets thank him by responding to this thread and wishing him and his family happy holidays!

The Joomlapolis CB Team has just released (see downloads area) the Zoom Plugin contributed by Peter with the assistance of JoomlaJoe and Beat. The user plugin package was designed to work with version 2.5 beta 3 of the Zoom Gallery component (http://www.zoomfactory.org/) and CB 1.0 RC2.
Please be aware that there are certain security issues, identified by Trail, related with Zoom that have been brought to the attention of the Zoom Gallery component team.
We have started a new forum thread to host discussions regarding this plugin.

Looking at the current popularity of the Community Builder suite and Joomlapolis it has become more than obvious that more people need to get actively involved. There has been a lot of forum support by fellow Joomlapolitans - and we all thank them! The Joomlapolis Government would also like to invite potential content contributors to contact us (PM nant on this site) in order to obtain 'Author' status and submit article content for review and publication on this site. I hope this 'call for assistance and invlovement' is successfull.
