What is the diffrence between the login module for RC1 and RC2? Are a lot of things not going to work, if I use the login module for RC1 with RC2?

Ok, that does not work. I tried now to install RC2 and using the Login module for RC1, and that does not work.

Still, when I use the default login module of Joomla, it works fine with smf

Yep. I just upgraded to the RC2 and now my login component with SMF doesn't work. I guess until it gets resolved I will have to put a notice on my site about it.

I had SMF working with mambo and CB RC1. (dont know about joomla) Since RC2 its not working anymore. So I'd be interested to find more info or assist in debugging the problem.

Has anyone had any luck getting the RC2 Login to work with SMF?

I too have been patiently waiting for a fix to the CB RC2 / SMF RC2 problem. I have heard so many rumors about different fixes or developments but so far nothing works.
