I think it would be a nice little feature to be able to have a resend email confirmation button next to the user names that have yet to confirm their email and login for the first time. I have had several members on my site say that they have not received their confirmation email after signing up. Of course spam filters can sometime play a role in that, that is not always the case. It would be nice to be able to resend the confirmation email again with a simple button/link next to users that havent done so already.

I tested my website (Joomla 1.0.7 and CB RC) the emails are not sent. My users didn't get an email. Where can I fix that?


I tried to change the way joomla uses to send the mails. I changed from phpmail to sendmail to smtp nothing works.

This is my third time to install joomla. Everything works fine. This is the first time I tried to use CB. Where can I tell CB how to send the emails?

The original login component worked fine before.

When I use the phpmail function, mail is sent to the receipients. When trying to register with this setting, no mail is send.

Require Admin Approval = No
Require Email Confirmation = Yes
Registration Email Name = User Registration
Registratoin Email Adress = volker@computerclub-goch.de
Registration Reply To Email Adress = volker@computerclub-goch.de
Pending Approval Subject and following = unchanged

Moderation

- Administrator
all other settings = yes
