new language file format

new language file format was created by vancanneyt
as of joomla 1.1 the language files get a new file format and it will be in UTF-8 encoding. the new file format is no longer languagename.php but countrylocale.ini

example: dutch.php and the new format: dut_NL.ini

Joomla recommands to use the new format zo it would be handy if CB could make there code or language files already compliant for future versions of Joomla.

There are already a few components who have now .ini language files.

It's just a suggestion ;) but i should say, wait with this when the developer documentation is available when they release alpha2 of Joomla 1.1 and i guess that's not verry long anymore.

best regards,

Sava

We have holded back plugin languages api because of that.

We also prefered wait for a CB 1.0 and a Joomla! 1.1 beta stabilized release before going to a moving target... ;)
