Access level for tabs

Access level for tabs was created by andyahoo
Will there be a day when the tabs can be set to be viewed by only certain access levels?

Yes there will!
The CB Core team is working closely with Joomla core.
ACL (coming in Joomla 1.2) will provide the framework for any content item to be marked against any group.
In the meantime this could be done with a plugin (with programming). I have illustrated this in my latest version of Nant's Self-contained gallery plugin (just installed latest version on this site). To demonstrate this just upload your gallery photos (from your profile) and then edit your profile and select that items are only viewable by your connections.

Thanks for the info. :)

I will have two types of profiles.

Regular profiles and Commercial profiles.

The commercial users will have a business information tab.
This business tab needs to be only editable by the business user. So it should not show up when Regular user clicks update profile.

I'm not sure it this type of setting will be be a programming option with the Joomla ACL
