A couple of problems that may be due to the PayPal sandbox.

Firstly when I make a (test, obviously) subscription everything seems to interact properly, from payment tansactions to activation email link, but still the subscription arrives back in CBSubs as "pending".
The only thing I can see that looks odd is a message during registration about IPN & PDT needing to be set up. However, there is an entry in notifications, but it says "pending".

Secondly, when I cancel (single) payment in PayPal Joomla gets the registration but CBSubs doesn't and there doesn't appear to be a way to use the account to set up the subscription.

Hopefully it's something daft I'm doing, but I can't see what.

This is CB 1.2.2, php 5.2.12, Joomla 1.5.15, Linux, local machine, yes I've read the faqs/forums/&tc.

Any thoughts.

Ok, found it.
I hadn't set the PayPal sandbox account to disable the review.

Reading the text on the gateway page properly would've helped

I have set up a paypal sandbox account with different users and "they" have bought 1 year subscriptions and also made donation - but all of them end up as "Pending" in cbsubs payment. I have tried both with disable and enable review.

I had put the wrong email adress in cbsubs for my paypal sandbox account...
