refresh cookies after upgrade to subscription plan

hi

i need to refresh cookies and/or session after users upgrade to a particular plan

my login script sends registered users to one module and users who have signed up for subscriptions to another module

the problem i am having is when the user upgrades using cbsubs... their access level changes, but the session created when the user logged in still holds the old credentials... so nothing really changes. if they log out they then cant log back in until they clear cookies. it just redirects endlessly

i figure i need to write a script that is triggered after registration that clears the cookies and logs them back in

unless anyone knows of an easier way to fix this problem?

cheers

If using CB login module as designed for you should not be having any issues. Can not comment on custom login modules as they aren't supported. You could use CBSubs URL to execute a code file that deletes a users cookie however (simply use standard PHP functions to do so) which should result in meeting your needs.
