I think the only way to modify this date after an offline payment is entered is through the database with phpmyadmin or other. Otherwise I want to clarify for others, that if you do not enter any date, then it applies the current date and everything is fine. This will work for now I guess.

After changing the date then editing the subscription again is the date you specified displayed? This could just be a cosmetic issue and be displaying incorrectly in the graph. How is it displayed within CBSubs > Subscriptions or CBSubs > Payments.
