Multiple pages for registration

Multiple pages for registration was created by GarfordJB
Hi All,

I was wondering if it's possible to easily assign some fields to one registration page, and others to a subsequent one? I have a number of custom fields that are required, but they make the first page just far too long. I was hoping that I could break up the page by having these fields on a second page. Can that be done? If not, does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can break up the long list of fields?

Thanks!

Garford.

Yes this is possible using CBSubs, this is the only known solution for creating multiple registration forms. With CBSubs you could hide fields based on plan select creating uniquely displayed registration forms. You can then protect those fields on users profiles as well to create unique profiles based on plan subscribed to.

Hi Krileon,

Thanks for getting back to me.

Just to clarify, CBSubs will enable me to split up my registration form so that a new user first sees one form, fills in the details, then goes straight to another form to complete the process? I suppose I mean two registration forms in series, that everyone must complete, rather than two in parallel where people complete just one of the two?

Thanks again!

Garford

No, CBSubs will allow creating multiple registration forms using the "Hide on registration" feature to hide fields based on plan selection. This gives illusion for multiple registration pages.

Such feature is not available at this time, but possible be introduced in Cb 2.0.

Oh well! Thanks for your help! Is there an expected release date of 2.0?
