CB and Virtualmart was created by harris79
Hello everybody I’m a Novice at CB and virtualmart but I know joomla 1.5 pretty well my problem is that I want to setup community builder and virtualmart on the same web site and I see that they have similar modules like the login plugins and they both have their own search modules. So if they’re both installed on the same web site which one do you use. I see that when installing CB on joomla the instructions say that you should disable the default login module for joomla and use CB’s login module.
Will CB plugins work as well for virtualmart as virtualmart plugins work for itself and vice a versa? Or can I use them at the same time (Eg. when I need to login or search virtualmart I use virtual plugins and when I need to login and search CB I use CB’s plugins. I guess that it can work because I see a demo at joomlapolis of a CB web site with a virtualmart menu item. I guess what I’m really try to say is what does it take to get these two to work together????????????????

CB login module and registration is required for CB to properly function and stay in sync. Out of the box CB does NOT synchronize with VM. You will need to find, download, and install a CB integration that will do this for you. There are many available, free and commercial, please search.

You're a documentation subscriber so you've access to our incubator which I've written a VM integration. Please note incubator projects aren't supported here. If you have an issue please post on the projects forums. More on incubator projects here .
