Hi
I dont now how to really address this issue but hopefulle someone can help me. I use CB for a client that needs to upload ID numbers and Passport numbers for members of there service. However, sometimes either the ID or passport number gets typed incorrectly and then there is a duplicate ID number. The CB system does not pick this up (I actually realised this by pure fluke). How can one prevent this. Or setup CB to warn you if a duplicate has been entered.

Where is this data being entered? Into a CB field? If so, no CB field checks for duplicates. You'll need to develop a new fieldtype plugin to handle this. I recommend reviewing documentation subscriber ajax file and text fieldtype plugins as examples.
