Since the creative tab supports HTML, you can put a Skype Button in the Creative tab of your CB Profile (and the creative tab doesn't have to be named About me, could be "Skype Me".

Here's how: Go to www.Skype.com and get the code for your Skype button. Then, edit out the comment, which seems to mess things up.

Then, paste the code into the Creative Tab. Mine was:

<a href="skype:rdavis101?call"><img src="mystatus.skype.com/bigclassic/rdavis101" style="border: none;" width="182" height="44" alt="My status" />[/code:1]

And when someone clicks the button, it launches Skype on their system for them to call you, if you're online.

In theory someone could turn this into a plug in that puts that button under your CB picture.

I know this question doesn't have to do with your posting, but can you tell me how can I get the Creative Tab to appear in my profile.

I looked in the administration back-end and in my profile but can not figure it out.

Here's Nick's tutorial. You don't have to call it "About me". You can call it anything. You can show a web page on the creative tab, too.

If there's a name on your creative tab taking up a lot of room and looking obnoxious, use a space for the name.

is there any way that, upon registering, a user could enter their skype name and so therefore on all profiles and Joomlaboard posts etc there would be someway to skype a user if they had a skype account? (like it would automatically launch the application).
