I am already using the latest version of CB. Isn't that Version 1.0?

You're probably using Release Candidate 2.
Before releasing a final version most developpers release a so called Release Candidate.

This isn't really beta software anymore, it should be rather stable. But the real test is always when a lot of people use the software. Therefore you have an RC, stable but some things might pop up with some users.

After a certain number of RC's the final version is released.
So now you have version 1.0 RC2, the next release will hopefully be version 1.0 (without the RC part).

I hope this explains it a little better.

1.0 is in teting now. I happen to be a tester and just checked that this feature exists in the next release in the mod_login.

Just be patient and you will get it.

Anybody get anywhere with this? Just to clarify what I'm trying to do:

After someone registers for the first time(only), I want to send them to a custom page, instead of the default message.

Ok, here is my work around to redirect users after their initial registration:

In comprofiler.php, (1.0) look between lines 1041 and 1056
depending on you configuration. In my case it was lines 1051 and 1052. Instead of pointing to the language file message, I replaced it with:

$messagesToUser = header('Location: adifferent.php');
