Is it possible to use the rate plugin to rate some site pages? If so, how can I add the rate field there?

I use MobiRate to allow ysers to rate content pages:
extensions.joomla.org/extensions/contacts-and-feedback/articles-comments/16298

Works pretty good.

Yes, you actually apply it to categories. it appears then on the articles in the categories you apply.
