I have seen a decimal field type mentioned in several places. One post said it would be part of the core, one post said it could be easily created as a plugin and I have seen referances to it as though it already exists. However, I cannot find it within CB or as a plugin.

Am I missing something? I really need a decimal field so I am happy to put some time into developing it. I just want to make sure someone else hadent already done it or isn't already working on it.

Check the parameters of the integer field type Nick mentioned.

I will do, thanks Rapunzl. It should just map to the decimal datatype in MySQL.

I will try and develop a plugin, I just wanted to check it wasn't already being done.
