City/State Field

City/State Field was created by jackibar
Is there any way to separate the city/state field into 2 separate fields (city, state) in com_profiler? When I try to go into "Add" a field in CB Field Management, it says I'm not allowed direct access!

Thanks!

CB doesn't provide a city or state field. Something you've installed has created this or you've created this your self. Please enable Joomla legacy plugin as you likely a legacy CB plugin installed (all of CB 1.2.3 and it's Joomlapolis plugins are completely native) this might resolve your direct access issues.

Hi,

Not, it's actually right in the CB User area - the Contact info tab - has city/state. It's also in the CB registration area which is where it comes from. I just looked again to make sure and it says Community Builder User on the Contact info page... And everything I have installed for CB has come from this web site when I registered and subscribed - nothing says legacy needed (all green checks).

Okay, I've been looking into this some more and where I'm seeing this is in the CB Field Management - the field is called cb_citystate - and it is used in the Contact Info tab. If I click on "Edit" to try to edit this field, the field name is greyed out (uneditable) - if I try to add a New field using the + icon, that's when I get the error that Direct Access is not allowed... I know I have added and edited these fields before! What am I missing that I can no longer edit anything there?

Something you've installed is doing that, enable legacy mode. CB does not create a state or city field, you have created those within Field Management or something you've installed has.
