That parameter only affects CB. It has nothing to do with the rest of Joomla. Review your profile and see if your template is taking affect. Did you use CB Template Changer to generate the template or is it a 3rd party CB template? If it's a 3rd party CB template please contact the developer of your template for support. If it was generated by CB Template Changer ensure the template changer field in CB > Field Management isn't in use as it may have already been saved with your profile as using the default template.
