[SOLVED] Parent & Child Accounts

13 years 3 months ago #149660 by MH1
The listings site which I am working on will require that someone can register a primary business account and then add staff accounts, which will each have their own CB username and password.

Is it possible to have implement a "Corporate" account / profile, where the owrner or administrator of this account can create and manage "child" accounts?

No, such a feature is not available. They'd need to logout and go through the registration process for their Staff or have backend access to create users from User Management. CB does have code available to create users via API, but to my knowledge there's no plugin/extension to allow what you're wanting available.

Thanks Kyle, your first suggestion of having their admin (or the staff member) registering separately in might be best.

Maybe I'll use lists to to manage the groups of accounts somehow once they're registered.
