Frontend Session expired or cookies not enabled

13 years 2 months ago #153580 by cugie
Today was the first time I received this error trying to login in the front end:

Session expired or cookies are not enabled in your browser. Please press "reload page" in your browser, and enable cookies in your browser. Please refresh/reload page before filling-in.

I had to disable Community builder and had no problem logging in.

Thanks in advance!

I got same error when logging in. I get past it by clicking in IE8 address window, then hitting my enter key. Not a problem in FireFox3. Crazy, eh?

Also when trying to do a front end edit of an article, I get a 403 error.

OK, I discovered how to fix this, at least for me. I deleted my user account in Joomla and created another user with the same permissions and it worked. Why this occured I have no idea but I had to do so with all four of the registered users to get it to work again.

Thank you for your response. Forums are wonderful!!!
