[SOLVED] Problem with the plugin system-privacy consent

Hi,

I've read this topic and I have a problem which may be related, even though my english is such that I don't understand everything.

I have joomla 3.9.1 and CB 2.3.0 installed. I think those are the latest versions. My server uses PHP 7.0.

Whenever I activate the plugin system-privacy consent, it gets impossible to log in to my site. Firefox tells me that the page is not redirected correctly.

Also no check box is added to the sign up form to consent to the privacy policy (which is what I was expecting if I understand what the plugin is supposed to do).

I've unpublishised the CB system plugin to see if the problem was related to CB or not, but everything is still the same. I thought it would change back to joomla default sign up page and profile but it does not, it is still using CB.

Install the latest build release. You've the latest stable. Latest build release is 2.3.0+build.2018.11.26.18.02.53.89a6e2ebd and is tested working fine with Joomla privacy consent plugin. If you're still stuck in a loop even after unpublishing CBs system plugin in Extensions > Plugins then it's not CB causing you to be stuck.

Thank you. I thought latest build was another word for latest relase.

I've installed it but I still have the same problem. And as I said, when I disable community builder system plugin, it is still using CB, which I find strange.

Anyway thanks for your reply. I will post in a joomla forum as well.

Are you sure you've disabled CBs system plugin and not some other CB plugin? Within Extensions > Plugins disable "Community Builder System plugin". CBs redirect from Joomlas com_users does not function at all if that is disabled.

Hi,

Sorry I couldn't answer earlier.

Yes the plugin, I tried to disable was "community builder system" plugin. I just did it again again still with the same result (or lack of result).

Then your issue isn't being caused by CB. Once that's disabled CB will no longer try to redirect away from Joomla (it won't anyway when Privacy Policy tries to redirect). You've something else causing your issue. Try unpublishing 3rd party system and user plugins in Extensions > Plugins 1 by 1 until the issue goes away to see if it could be another extensions plugin causing problems.
