It is probably me being blind, but I just cannot find out how to update.
Do I have to download the newest version and upload it in joomla install or am I just as I suspect, blind?

Ensure you're logged into Joomlapolis then visit the Install from Web tab within CB > Plugin Management > Install New Plugin. There are reports that this isn't detecting that you are logged in when browsing with Safari though. We're working on improving this significantly in the coming releases. Alternatively you can just download manually from our downloads page below.

If you don't want to install build releases or be notified about build releases simply turn off plugin version checking in CB > Configuration > Integrations.
