I am very new to CB (come back after many years away), just taken on a site from someone else so not at all familiar with the component terminology so please be gentle! I have found people asking for this in the forum but not been able to work it out myself from any of the posts.

I just want to place the Joomla/CB User ID at the top of a users profile as it will be used offsite as ID.
So far I have created a new Field called User ID and placed [user_id] within the description area.
I have it on the right Tab so it displays but display the result of 0
Woulkd someone please let me know what else i need to do to make the specific user ID show up instead of a 0 ?
