Hi there, would it be possible for CB to allow this? I want to run a Questions and Answers site, where any registered user can post questions, and only I can reply to them. I don't want to have to worry about whether the article is a "featured" article or not, I just want the user to come in, post, and be done.
Joomla's out-of-the-box setup doesn't allow posting but I can change the global permissions to allow this. I want me and only me to be able to reply to any posted question. This is the most important thing.
I've gone to Joomla forums and asked my question but am not getting a lot of support. I'm hoping CB will be the solution to my problem. How would I set this up?

Well, I tried Joomla 4 and the Beta Kunena Forums and ran into quite a bit of trouble. Going back to Joomla 3 and the stable version.
What makes you say that Kunena would be the best for offering this type of service?

Because you can create a forum category where users can only start new threads (aka question) and only moderators can comment (aka respond).
