I'm replying to the thread

I updated now CB 1.4 (Joomla 1.5.23) and there the ssl sessioning for the registration
process is also not working - the same as under CB 1.3.1 I tried all the different CB_login module setting of "HTTPS (encrypted) login, register and lost password" but the registration process is still completly under http and not https. For the login procedure it is working. That if I push the login button the http session gets transfered to https but for registration this is not the case.

Are there any other configurations (maybe in Joomla) which I have to setup that the registration process gets secured ?
