Looks like a problem with your template or tinyMCE editor

I have the default template any known bugs related to that template?...
do you know how can I resolve tinymce problems?

I installed CB 1.4 in 3 new sites and with the "editor text area" is happening the same in all of them, all the other options save, apply and cancel correctly, I reinstalled joomla and that didn't solved the problem, I'm still hearing suggestions :D

thanks.

This also happens here. Editor text area dosen't work. I've modified directly the database to have the editorta field working but this should be fixed for next release.

Just an update: I use joomla 1.6.3 and CB 1.4.
I have other site with joomla 1.5.23 and CB 1.4 and all works fine.

Sorry, I cannot replicate this on any of my websites and on websites of our testing team.

If you can replicate this behaviour on a clean Joomla website (without anything else), the we can consider this as a bug.

I'm running Joomla 1.5.23 w/ Community Builder 1.4
I also have a handful of Community Builder plugins installed along with
AlphaUserPoints, Kunena, GCalendar, & JoomGallery.

I've never had this issue before either, however though I have found a work around solution to this problem.

Go to Joomla's Global Configuration and change the editor from TinyMCE to No Editor & save.
Then go back to CB's Field Management and you should be able to create an Editor Text Area field.
After you have created your field(s) then return to Joomla's Global Configuration page and change No Editor back to TinyMCE then save.
Now you should be all set!

I am hoping that the next Joomla release of 1.5 will fix this solution if it indeed is an issue on Joomla's end.
