Need Help With CB Upgrade from 1.9 to 2.4 (Joomla 3.8 and PHP 7.2)

4 years 10 months ago #312604 by wya13188
I'm currently trying to find any help on getting our CB upgraded from 1.9 to the most recent version for our company website so CB can be compatible with the upgrades we already made to our PHP version and Joomla version.

The current Joomla version we have on hand is 3.8.11 and our current PHP version is 7.2.18.

Any help is appreciated and I am also open to working with anyone on here who is willing to consult or assist with helping us solve this issue as well.

Here are some images below regarding the system information and current CB version. Let me know if there's anything else you need to know.

Thank you very much for reading through this and I appreciate any tips anyone on here can offer!

CB 1.x to CB 2.x is a deep migration. The less plugins you have the smoother it will go though. Basically just install CB 2.x over CB 1.x. You will likely need to do this on PHP 5.6 since CB 1.x is not PHP 7.x compatible. Once you've migrated you can change back to PHP 7.x then go through your install to be sure your configuration is as expected as lot has changed. If you've plugins installed then at this point they also should be updated to their latest releases.
