I have installed the RC CB and there is no login

I am not sure where my login form is> I have installed this just like I would any other CB app, but I am using 1.6 and the login does not show up on my front page? All I can think of is that I disabled soemthing I should not have? I know that is is installing under the type "Banners" and I can't change it in the module settings.

You need to publish the login in a position your Joomla 1.6 template supports.
I believe in the default joomla 1.6 template this is position-7.

You can see which position the default login module from joomla is published in and follow that example.

I put in the position and now the header for the module is showing, but not the actual form? How do I change the "TYPE" it is set for banners and I know that should not be, but I am not sure how to change it???

Please install CB 1.4, RC is out of date. Stable 1.4 released to the public features bug fixes that RC does not have. Please also review Joomlas documentation regarding configuring modules. You need to place the login module in a acceptable J1.6 template position, but default it will be placed in no position.
