It's really strange. After updating I didn't look in this group, because she is not very active. Now I've seen:
In backend this group has 22 members (=users). They all are active. I am the owner. When I go to frontend and look in users tab, there is only one user (new updated) All the others (me inclusive) are not visible. But in group information is written, there are 22 users.
I had another group with 30 members(=users) this group was very active before upgrading to stable (and all went well. Since then the activities are finished, but the group still exists. Now I see in backend, they all are members and actives, but in frontend they are not listed in users tab. Only in group information there's written 30 members.
How can you explain that? For me it seems to be a big new bug, who was not there before.
I would like to know, if others have this problem too, and how they resolved that???
(I am using gj2.1 on cb1.4 on j1.5.22)

Sounds like you've some sort of caching enabled. Users don't just simply vanish then re-appear.
