I'm using the Rating system. Works great, except on one website.
On the website where it's not working:
User clicks on a star and the test says "click on a star to rate"
It does not go to "Thank you for your rating"
And the rating is not recorded.
What am I doing wrong?

More then likely a fatal JS error. Please review your browser error log when attempting to rate a user and you should see a fatal error occur. Often is caused by template conflict; please test with default Joomla template.

It was a fatal error, It was actually a Joomla 1.7 error. It didn't like the link to index2.php in the plugin's php file. I changed the link to index.php and it's working.
Strange though it works in other Joomla 1.7 installs?

Could you be more descriptive of what you had to change? Was the change made in the CB Rating Field plugin it self?

Solved it by changing line 214 in ratingfield.php
$ajaxUrl = $live_site . '/index2.php';
to:
$ajaxUrl = $live_site . '/index.php';
$ajaxUrl = $live_site . '/index2.php';
to:
$ajaxUrl = $live_site . '/index.php';
