it works fine in http or https with the video plugin disabled. So the source of the error is definitely http links in the video plug-in.

No idea, that makes no sense for all the JS to suddenly fail because a video link is HTTP rather then HTTPS. Guess I can implement it so HTTP videos won't load on HTTPS. IE is complete garbage so this really isn't much of a shocker unfortunately.

Was able to confirm this issue in IE9. It happens because the page never finishes loading. IE just sits there trying to load the cross-scheme content, but never does. JS always loads after the page has loaded and in this case the page never finishes loading. Am working on a fix to force videos to HTTPS if they support it and if they don't they'll be hidden or something to that affect.
