[#3899] CB Core Fields Ajax does not work with Date FieldType was created by kuddel
I've created a DateField (cb_birthday, not required) and the 'Core CB Ajax Fields: Field ajax preferences' set to Enabled. If a user attempts to change this date in the front end, the date will be deleted. On another website, there is this field required. There, the entries are not deleted and not modified. The display shows that it is a required field.
Even with a first-time entry will nothing accepted.
That's not bad at the moment, but in the near future it would be nice if this error no longer occurs. So just relax... B)

Was able to confirm your issue as a bug. I've created the below bug ticket for further investigation and fixing for next release.
