CB Activity reactions dropdown being cut off was created by BlountyNG
I can insert gifs using the (giphy:code) but can't seem to get the dropdown box to work.
I have tried on a default joomla template as well as the one I am using and neither seem to do the trick.

As noted in the blog post and CB Activity > Reactions you need a Giphy API key. You can create one at developers.giphy.com/dashboard/.

Sorry, for some reason my image didn't upload when I posted.

I do have an API key and the drop down box does show but not how it does in your post.

(I take it embedding the images itself is not related to the dropdown selector but I thought to mention it as that part works)

Ensure you've the latest build release (5.0.0+build.2019.07.22.17.07.05.1dab2c38f) installed and retry. If issue persists be sure to switch CB Activity back to its default template as CB Activity 5.0.0 completely rewritten its template files.

Have also moved your topic to support forums. Please do not post support requests in blogs, news articles, etc..

Installed the latest build and double checked that the activity was still using the default template.
Also had a quick try with the profile being set to default template but still no luck with any of that.

Switch to default Joomla protostar template and see if your issue persists as it could be a CSS conflict from your Joomla template.
