suggest to use better editor in cb code action

hi
i want use cb auto action with Code type but it has a not good editor of codebox in the Code tab. can you change to better simple editor such as default code box of joomla in Extension>templates>templates > select some file to edit.
or something such as Fabrik extension code box?

No, editors alter the content they're editing. The code stored needs to be raw. An editor just adds fancy colors and that's all it's good for unless it can provide autocomplete and full syntax hints, which would make the editor massive to be able to do that. I recommend using an actual code editor then copying your code over once done so you can have proper autocomplete and syntax hints.

That's CodeMirror and it doesn't do anything except alter content (depending on what parameters you have configured for it) and apply coloring. Its JS for rebinding is unreliable so it won't work well with multi-code output (when adding more than 1 code usage in a code action) and it slows the page down. It brings little value as an actual editor. I recommend using an external editor where you'll gain actual value then just copy the code over. There's several well made free ones like Visual Studio Code, Netbrains, etc..

There are no plans to implement support for an editor there, sorry.
