[#8407] Comment notification system: how to make the commented article appear?

3 months 2 weeks ago - 3 months 2 weeks ago #323559 by Compix83
Hi, Krileon.

I'll give you an example: if a user likes my comment posted under an article, and I click on the notification, what appears to me is only my comment that the user has liked. The commented article does not appear.

Is there a way to make sure that, by clicking on the notification, the system shows, in addition to the comment that received the like, also the article under which the comment was published?

I think showing the context in which the interaction took place is quite important.

Thanks, Vincenzo

The like was against your comment and not the article. To CB Activity the article had nothing to do with that interaction. In the future I'd ideally like it to return to the article and just show the comment that was liked so it's all within context. Right now that's significantly more tricky to do, but have added a feature ticket to see if I can at least improve it some as you're right it's not very helpful to just link to that comment entry and not be able to interact with it.
