Are the _UE_NEWSLETTER values operable? was created by sonservant
Hi,
There are many lines of _UE_NEWSLETTER* in the default_language.php file. Are these just for the YaNC Newsletter or can I use these for MailChimp newsletter subscriptions if I set up the custom Tab and Fields?
Is there any built in functionality for handling signups and opt outs?

These are just for legacy Yanc integration.
Other newsletter extensions have their own CB Integration (e.g., AcyMailing).

I haven't seen any plugins for MailChimp, are there any you're aware of?
Also, Is is OK to delete all the YaNC newsletter references and plugin then?

Delete from where?
As these are core plugins, I would not remove them, just keep them unpublished as they are by default.
