Hello Joomla/CB users! My name is Richard and I am considering Joomla/CB to deploy my new project/idea. I'm pretty technical but designing a social networking website is wayyyy out of my league. I got Joomla/CB installed on a test server ok and so far I am VERY impressed. I was about to pay for software and/or have it custom designed completely from scratch. Needless to say Joomla/CB will save me thousands of dollars if I go this route.

My main question is, although I know its impossible to tell for sure, but approximately how many people develop mods/extensions for CB, and do a lot of them usually take on work?

PS. Just bought Building Websites with Joomla! 1.5, around next payday I will be buying the subscription here as well.
