I know this questions is asked a lot, and believe you me I have searched the forum.
But I can't find an answer.

How can I solve this upload issue?
Just give me an url to the thread with the answer please :)

Cool thanks for the info, try to chmod directory:

from the parent directory:

chmod 755 images/comprofiler

also you might want to double check that the owner of the directory is for example (nobody) apache.

chown nobody.nobody images/comprofiler

let me know if you have any luck!

Thanks a lot!

It was owner probs and not chmod.
I'll keep that in mind for the future =)

After reading this, thought mine might be owner prob too (with the problem only surfacing after I had asked my webhost to change permission settings for components/com_joomlaboard), but my webhost just confirmed that the folder permissions for images/comprofiler/ are still 755 and no change to the owner. So apparently that ain't the problem. :(
