title sounds silly??.. however this is the overview:


what is supposed to be implemented:

1. we're using a community builder's comprofiler(user registration component),.. however the username and password is required. in which this fields i dont want to be there because for the reason that the registration form is basically for capturing data and to be placed to the DB.

any ways to implement this?

take note: i wish to have a lead what file in the core to hack to make this possible. its a quickie for those who have mastered the registration flow barely have the time to tinker on it one by one though.


have seen this trick back in the mamboserver forum however cant find the thread anymore.
