I am trying to create a section of my clients site that will allow them to have a 'client area'. From here, they would like to give each client there own page on the site, whereby, they can use their own calendar, communicate with the company, provide feedback for work done by the client and more.

As you can see, its not so much a case of building a community, more of building relations B2B.

The problem is that because of the way joomla! is set up, you cannot direct different groups of people to different areas of the site.

Any help would be appreciated, let me know if you need me to clarify any of the above, I have probably not explained it well.

You could do at least most of that with CB. However, I would recommend using an extranet application of some kind as they are more suited to this.
